A year has passed since you went away

In a way the pain still grows

Though your little boys are grown men now

Their grief still palpably shows

We still hear your voice on silent nights

See your cheeky, smiling face

You taught us well how to carry on

But you leave a gaping space

Yet your own strength in adversity

Sense of humour even in pain

Will keep us all smiling through

Till the day that we meet again.

With all our love and fond memories

Malcolm, Martin, Paul, Lynn, Jo, Mary, Sam, Kimberley, Elizabeth, Matthew, Annemarie, Emma, Jonathan, Stephen and all the great grandchildren
